National Health Spending

In 1987 and 1988 the ongoing crisis in the healthcare system in Israel worsened. To many, the cuts in public spending on healthcare appear exaggerated  while at the same time, healthcare costs and needs are rising continuously.

This paper appears as a chapter in the Center’s annual publication, Israel’s Social Services 1987-1988. This publication did not appear in English this year.
