Trends in the Income-Maintenance System

From 1980-1987, the trend in increases in income-maintenance expenditure has continued both in absolute and in fixed price terms. This paper examines the trends in the 1980s – including during the years of the economic stabilization program.

This paper appears as a chapter in the Center’s annual publication, Israel’s Social Services 1987-1988. This publication did not appear in English translation this year.
